This is the granite color that is most prevalent in nearly every cemetery in the Northeast – “Barre Grey” – its namesake being the town of Barre, Vermont, where it is quarried. The town of Barre is sometimes referred to as the ‘Granite Capital of America’ with many of its quarries dating back hundreds of years. Barre Grey resonates with its majestic and historic presence.  Barre Grey is one of the highest-quality granites in existence, in the world.

Barre Grey, due to its close proximity to New York, also happens to be one of the most cost-effective color options.

(Quarried in Vermont, USA)

Pink granites represents compassion, love, and nurturing. This is a resounding theme for both male and female figures, especially those who have become fathers or grandfathers during the course of their lives.

North American Pink Granite, also referred to as Mountain Rose Granite, present a wonderful deep pink appearance with a subtle amber hue.

Black granites represent a formal appearance – while providing high levels of contrast ideal for fine surface-grade etching of highly-detailed images, such as portraits.

Impala Black Granite offers a near-charcoal-like appearance, sometimes evoking a very slight greenish or brownish hue within the black layers. Its metallic appearance adds character and depth.
(Quarried in South Africa)

Wavy Black Granite is a unique granite, in that it present coarse-grained striations that have a marble-like appearance. These veins provide a layered aesthetic, oftentimes interpreted as a form of reflection, and the eternal breeze. Similar to miles of sand on an ocean, or waves out deep in the sea.
(Quarried in Pennsylvania, USA)
